GREENSBORO — Corbin was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer on August 31, 2008, and passed away on Monday, January 5, 2009. There will be a celebration of Corbin's life from 1 until 3 p.m. Sunday, January 11, at George Brothers Funeral Home. Corbin was born in Miami, Florida on October 1, 2000, to Lino F. Gil and Katherine "Charli" Chandler. She was in the 3rd grade at Peeler Open Elementary School For The Performing Arts. She enjoyed acting, dancing, singing, drawing and painting her life out for others to see. Corbin was preceded in death by her "Pawpaw", Hap Chandler, her beloved "Abu", Dilsa Magallon and "Pawpaw Jimmy" Orrell. Corbin leaves behind her best friend and brother, Chandler. Left to help carry on her memory are her "DeeDee", Pam Orrell, her aunts and uncles, Penny and Chris Alvino, Nichole and Jon Billodeau, Julie and Ted Velasquez, Tio Rico and Jesenia Subina. Corbin is also survived buy her cousins, Zach Strandburg, Zane and Zahra Goins, Carly Billodeau, Ted Andrew, Jenzyca, Marinna, Maryjane and Marilyn. Corbin also leaves behind a tremendous amount of friends, who with the help from her family will keep her memory alive. Corbin also leaves her faithful pets, China, Fuzzy Wuzzy, Luna, Halle and her Pig. Corbin's family would like to give special thanks to the principal, teachers, staff, and all of Corbin's treasured school friends and their families. Special thanks go to "Dr. G" and his Angel Team at Duke Medical Center, and Kids Path/Hospice of Greensboro. Last but not least, thank you to all our extended family, neighbors, local bikers (especially CBA/ABATE of NC), co- workers, and everyone who has helped us through this tremendously hard time.
